Join Pathfinder Search and Rescue
Search and Rescue is an outstanding way to give back to the community. Pathfinder Search and Rescue members come from many backgrounds. We all share a common interest in helping in our community, love of the outdoors and working with animals. You do not need prior Search and Rescue experience to join.Search and Rescue training is provided by the team or outside agencies with little to no cost to team members. Some National certifications do require a fee.Requirements to join Pathfinder SAR:
Pathfinder Search and Rescue Application Process:The team accepts applications at any time. Basic SAR training will average about six to eight months. During this period the new member will be on probation, if after six to eight months the member is not progressing and has not met the requirements they will not be retained on the team. Selected individuals must also pass a team leadership review. NOTE: You have to be on the team at least 12 months to work a dog. We take our community service seriously.
