5 August 2008 Pathfinder would like to thank Best Friends Pet Care of Oklahoma City for their generous donation and continued fundraising drive to support our organization. Great Job!! 31 May 2008 Congratulations go out to Kay and Ila, Bobby and Haley, Tammy and Miya and James and Enzo for passing their Disaster certification today. All teams certified with an outside evaluator in tough conditions. Pathfinder is now the largest volunteer Search and Rescue dog team in Oklahoma. 17 May 2008R Congratulations go out to Steve Potter and Millie for passing their Scent Discrimination certification today. 13 May 2008 Congratulations go out to Tammy Riley and Miya for passing their Therapy Dog International test this evening. 26 Apr 2008 Older girls from Girl Scout Troop 682 spent the day with our team during wilderness training. The girls hid for the dogs and watched them work hasty trails and cadaver scenarios. Everyone had a good time. 22 Apr 2008 Congratulations to Bobby Mercer for passing his HAM Radio Technician Certification test this evening. Pathfinder Search and Rescue team members Kay Dawson with Oberon, Debra Potter and Steve Potter with Millie presented our children's program to Moore area Girl Scout Troop 682 this evening. 19 Apr 2008 Congratulations go out to Ted Krey and Pokie for passing their Wilderness certification today. 18 Apr 2008 Pathfinder Search and Rescue wants to thank our supporters for the use of two (2) additional debris piles and one (1) additional wilderness area for advanced canine training. 08 Apr 2008 Pathfinder Search and Rescue Team members Kay Dawson with Oberon and Debra Potter spent the evening with the Oklahoma State University, Veterinary School of Medicine. They spoke to a group of approximately 50 undergraduate students. Topics included information about our organization, search and rescue in general. They also had time to do two searches, one each in cadaver and scent discrimination. We were honored to be guest speakers for this great institution again. 5 Apr 2008 Congratulations go out to Kay Dawson and Ila for passing their Cadaver certification today. 08 Mar 2008 Congratulations go out to Ted Krey for passing his Team Level II test today, great work. 27 Feb 2008 Pathfinder Search and Rescue would like to thank AECO Sales and Service for their generous donation and continued support over the years to our team. Thanks guys we love you!! 23 Feb 2008 Congratulations go out to the following team members, great work. Cody Riley passed his Team Level II test today. Lisa Bennett and Abby passed their Canine Good Citizen and CKOC - Creatures and Kids Oklahoma Certification for therapy work. 24 Jan 2008 Congratulations to James Riley for completing his NASAR SAR Tech III certification. 12 Jan 2008 Pathfinder Search and Rescue members completed CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Basic First Aid training through the American Safety Health Institute. Team member Lisa Bennett was our instructor, she did an excellent job.
